Connect Praxis to [n8n](https://n8n.io)—the most popular open-source workflow automation platform. Start with Docker, create an OpenAI credential pointing to Praxis.

## What you'll accomplish [#what-youll-accomplish]

* Run an n8n instance with Docker, configured to use Praxis models
* Protocol: OpenAI-compatible (`/openai/v1`)

## Prerequisites [#prerequisites]

* **Docker installed**.
* **A Praxis API key**. Create at [Console → API Keys](https://console.deepraxis.ai/keys). See [Quickstart](/en/docs/cloud/services/model/quickstart).

## Install & Start [#install--start]

```bash
docker run -d --name n8n --restart always -p 5678:5678 docker.n8n.io/n8nio/n8n:latest
```

Visit `http://localhost:5678` and create an owner account.

## Configure [#configure]

**Step 1**: Credentials → Create Credential → search "OpenAI".

**Step 2**: Fill in:

| Field    | Value                                |
| -------- | ------------------------------------ |
| API Key  | your key starting with `sk-praxis-`  |
| Base URL | `https://api.deepraxis.ai/openai/v1` |

Click "Save".

## Verify [#verify]

Create a workflow → add "Message a model" node → select your credential → choose `deepseek-flash` → send "Hello" → Execute. Expected: a reply.

## FAQ [#faq]

| Symptom                     | Fix                  |
| --------------------------- | -------------------- |
| `localhost:5678` won't open | `docker logs n8n`    |
| 401                         | Copy key again       |
| Model not found             | Use exact catalog ID |
