# LobeHub (/en/docs/cookbook/chat-clients/lobehub)







Connect Praxis to [LobeHub](https://lobehub.com)—a modern open-source AI chat interface with plugins and multi-model support. Start with Docker, fill in two fields in the browser.

Every step lists its **expected result**: follow along yourself, or hand this page to an AI assistant that can operate your computer and let it do the install, setup, and verification for you.

## What you'll accomplish [#what-youll-accomplish]

* Run a LobeHub instance with Docker, connected to Praxis models
* Done when: you send "Hello" and get a reply
* Time needed: **5 minutes** (excluding the image download)
* Protocol: OpenAI-compatible (`/openai/v1`)

## Prerequisites [#prerequisites]

* **Docker installed and running** (check `docker --version`).
* **A Praxis API key** (starting with `sk-praxis-`). Create one at [Console → API Keys](https://console.deepraxis.ai/keys). See [Quickstart](/en/docs/developers/model/quickstart).

## Install & Start [#install--start]

**Step 1: start the container**

```bash
docker run -d --name lobehub --restart always -p 3210:3210 lobehub/lobe-chat:latest
```

Expected: a container ID prints; the first pull is \~1GB.

**Step 2: open the browser**

Visit `http://localhost:3210`. Expected: automatic redirect to the chat page.

## Configure [#configure]

**Step 3: open Language Model settings**

Click the settings icon (gear) in the left sidebar, then select "Language Model".

Expected: the API Key and API Proxy Address input areas appear.

**Step 4: enter the Praxis connection**

| ----------------- | ------------------------------------ |
| API Key           | your key starting with `sk-praxis-`  |
| API Proxy Address | `https://api.deepraxis.ai/openai/v1` |

Click "Check". Expected: passes; then check `deepseek-flash` in Model List.

## Verify [#verify]

Pick a model and send "Hello". Expected: a reply means you're connected.

## FAQ [#faq]

| Symptom                     | Cause                | Fix                                          |
| --------------------------- | -------------------- | -------------------------------------------- |
| `localhost:3210` won't open | Container starting   | `docker logs lobehub`                        |
| Check fails                 | Missing `/openai/v1` | Must be `https://api.deepraxis.ai/openai/v1` |
| 401                         | Key incomplete       | Copy again                                   |
| Model list shows defaults   | Not customized       | Add `deepseek-flash`                         |
